Out with the Old and in with the new - A @charnwoodstoves Island III to replace a very old original coalbrookdale 🫶🏻 This stove was installed with an @mifluesltd 10m, 7”, 316g Flexible Liner.

Installed and commissioned by the team at #milborrowchimneysweeps - Old stove removed due to it having an old, unused back boiler and to bring the house up with a more efficient and eco friendly unit.

What a really lovely installation and transformation 🫶🏻 The gorgeous @hunterstovesgroup Parkray Aspect 5 Compact on a honed Granite Hearth, cut in house by Croydon Fireplaces.

An @mifluesltd 5”, 6m, 316g flexible liner was used for this particular job ✅ after the original dated fireplaces was removed.

Also within the removal the alcove was found and a matching piece of stone cut for a log store for the client.

This stove was also fitted with @promafour_cfp chambers. The customer finished the decorating and painting on the outside walls.

We take such pride in exhibiting at the @edenbridgeoxtedshow - it’s one massive team effort that takes about a week from the start of set up to full pack down and put everything away.

We are very proud of all that we put together as a team, to show the face of both companies and welcoming so many people onto the stand. Not just to buy something but talk about the back story of both companies. How we started, what we do and the in-depth behind the scenes work that has got us to where we are today.

This show we had two sweep your own chimneys setup, which bought every one from the little future generation to the father and son family for lighthearted competition.

It’s so lovely to meet and talk to such a wide range of people, so many different faces and lots of people who visit the different shows and who we have worked with for years come back to say hello.

This is the very popular @stovaxgazco Stockton 5. The clients stove, we replaced the liner and flue for this wonderful Inglenook in a very small room. The Stockton 5 might be a 5KW Stove but it really does pack a punch ♥️

Yes, that is a stove fitted into a Yurt! A lovely @hunterstovesgroup Apect 4 on a plinth base. Fitting with a @vlazesurface Heatshield and a Riven Slate Hearth with a frame bespoke made by our local blacksmiths @anvilsblacksmiths the hearth was cut in house by the team at Croydon Fireplaces ✅ We worked closely with the yurt builders and had to make a bespoke ceiling crest to cover up the brackets on this project and the flashing kit used enabled for the flue system to pass through while keeping out rain water! The flue system was @mifluesltd

This is a gorgeous @stuvfiresuk @stuv_official 21/105 SF 🫶🏻 into this project.

This unit was put within a bespoke chimney breast clad with @promafour_cfp Promafour materials with a @poujoulatuk efficiency triple Wall Balance Flue Class 1 system for combustion air coming in from the roof around the flue system as we couldn’t provide combustion air through the floor and all the external walls were floor to ceiling glass.

Removal of an original Jetmaster open convector box and upgraded to a glass fronted eco-design, efficient and economical @stovaxgazco Riva 55 insert with a repaired stone shelf and promafour heat shields on the shelving units with a 904g flexible liner. This job expanded when it was discovered the old Jetmaster had an integral gather up within the flue!

We were thrilled to return to the special project we measured and carved and installed this beautiful bespoke bath stone fireplace under the TV for the client and we have then returned to reline the chimney with a @mifluesltd 904g flexible liner, connected and installed to a @stovaxgazco Stockton 5 ready for the cozy nights.

This is a @stovaxgazco Stockton 5 - Installed into an existing Inglenook ✅ This particular stove was installed as a rear exit but with a Class 1 flue liner from @mifluesltd as the client didn’t want to see the fluepipes or alter the brickworks.

There is an @ecofanlife on top of the stove to help circulate the warm air - these eco fans are super effective and make a considerable difference in warm the room. All four sizes in stock for delivery or collection in the showroom.

The STOCKTON ♥️ - part of a very large family. Croydon Fireplaces have a very large selection from the family in stock from the Stockton 3 to the Stockton 8 Double Door (MF). This was a little different. We replaced a S.S Poujoulat Therminox Prefabricated Flue System we fitted many years ago with a Powder Coated Black @poujoulatuk Thermonox System onto a customers exsisting @stovaxgazco Huntingdon 25 appliance and hearth.

A pretty awesome bit of kit! ✅ This is a prime example of having a stove without a traditional brick chimney. The prefabricated flue system allows you to create an artificial one, in a fraction of the time and costing of a traditional brick chimney (and takes up less space!) perfect. 👌🏻

This is the lovely Parkray Aspect 5 from @hunterstovesgroup ✅ Sat on a bespoke cut in house by Croydon Fireplaces Agean Limestone Hearth 🫶🏻

As you can see from the last 3 pictures this in fact a prefabricated flue system not an original chimney breast. This has been constructed to look like a chimney breast without the requirement and expense of a traditional brick chimney stack, which takes a lot more space and needs structural calculations and potential foundations all taking extra time and extra expense. Using @promafour_cfp and brick work.

This is a lovely @stovaxgazco Riva2 50 inset ✅ With a class 1 flexible liner from @mifluesltd and a made to measure, cut in house at Croydon Fireplaces a Honed Granite Hearth.

You can see the last picture is the before image pre knock out, then prepared opening and lintel fitted. Then the customer will be finishing off the decorating to suit their requirements.

A beautiful @charnwoodstoves Island I into an existing inglenook fireplace. This was an open fire before the stove was installed and the customer requested to keep thier original open fire canopy. Which in a lot of cases is possible and gives the inglenook fireplace and stove that traditional feel with the great efficiency from a wood burning stove.

The liner was installed from a MEWP due to awkward access with a class 1 @mifluesltd Flexible liner.

The Hearth was Polished Slate, cut bespoke in house by Croydon Fireplaces 🫶🏻

The surround is a @capital_fireplaces 54” Washington in Aegean Limestone ✅ We constructed the whole chimney breast for the client from a bare wall as per specifications.
